About these terms
These terms are an agreement between you and Nexus Tech, of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania ("Pamo", "we", "us"). They cover the Pamo apps, our WhatsApp service and this website. By using Pamo, you accept them. If you don't accept them, please don't use Pamo.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.
Who can use Pamo
You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding contract. Give us accurate details and keep your account secure. You're responsible for what happens under your account, so tell us straight away if you think someone else has accessed it.
What Pamo does
Pamo is a personal assistant. It can read what you share or connect, then prepare summaries, reminders, plans and draft messages. We may add, change or remove features as Pamo develops. If a change significantly affects you, we'll try to tell you first.
You stay in control
Pamo asks for your approval before it sends a message on your behalf, and it doesn't spend your money. When you approve something, it's your action and your responsibility, so read drafts before you approve them.
AI can make mistakes
Pamo uses artificial intelligence. It can miss things, misread them or get them wrong, including dates, amounts and names. Check anything important before relying on it.
Pamo doesn't provide medical, legal, financial or other professional advice, and it isn't an emergency service. Speak to a qualified person about those matters, and contact your local emergency services if someone is in danger.
Connected accounts
You can connect accounts from other companies, such as email, calendar and messaging services. Only connect accounts you're allowed to use. Those services have their own terms, and you're responsible for following them. We don't control them and aren't responsible for them. They can change or stop working with Pamo. You can disconnect them at any time.
Your content
Your content is whatever you send, upload or connect to Pamo, along with what Pamo creates for you from it. You keep your rights in it. You give us permission to host, copy and process it only as needed to provide and protect Pamo, as described in our Privacy Policy.
You confirm you have the right to share your content with Pamo, including information about other people.
Acceptable use
Please don't use Pamo to:
- break the law or violate anyone's rights or privacy;
- harass, threaten, defraud or impersonate anyone;
- send spam or access accounts you're not allowed to use;
- create or share content that sexually exploits or harms children;
- break, overload, reverse engineer or get around the security or limits of Pamo;
- scrape Pamo or use it to build a competing service.
Price
Pamo is free at the moment. If we introduce paid features, we'll show the price and terms before you pay. We won't charge you unless you agree.
Our rights
Pamo, including its software, name, logo and design, belongs to us and our licensors. You may use it for your own personal use under these terms. If you send us feedback, we may use it without owing you anything.
Suspending or ending your use
You can stop using Pamo and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close your account if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, if you put others or Pamo at risk, or if the law requires it. Where reasonable, we'll tell you first. We may also stop offering Pamo, and we'll give you reasonable notice so you can get a copy of your information.
No guarantees
We work to keep Pamo useful and reliable, but we provide it "as is" and "as available". As far as the law allows, we don't promise that it will always be available, free of errors or suitable for a particular purpose. A missed reminder or a wrong summary can happen, so please don't rely on Pamo alone for anything critical.
Limits on our liability
Nothing in these terms limits rights you have by law that can't be limited, or our liability for fraud, or for death or injury caused by our negligence.
Otherwise, as far as the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost profits, data or opportunities. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or USD 50.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms and will change the date at the top of this page when we do. If a change is significant, we'll tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect. If you continue using Pamo after that, the new terms apply. If you don't agree, you can stop using Pamo and delete your account.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Tanzania, and its courts will hear any dispute. This doesn't take away any mandatory consumer rights you have where you live. Please contact us first, because most problems can be solved quickly.
If part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies.
