Why nothing sends itself

TL;DRAn assistant that writes on your behalf has to earn trust slowly. So Pamo drafts, and you press send.

It would be easy to make an assistant look impressive by having it reply for you. It would also be easy to embarrass you in front of your child's teacher.

So we start with a simple rule: Pamo prepares, you approve. Every message waits for your OK, and Pamo doesn't spend your money.

A draft is still most of the work

The hard part of a reply you've been avoiding is usually starting it. Reading a good draft and tapping send takes seconds. That's most of the benefit, with none of the risk.
